New from Witham

Hi Everyone

I'm Mina, and have one child, Patrick, who turned 6 last month. It has taken me this long to find a site for Mums in Essex (I guess I didn't google right :( - but I'm here now. I have a way to go to get accustomed with this site. I work full time (though recently started working from home on Fridays) which gives me a little bit more time to get organised for my son. We moved to Witham 4 years ago but I am still struggling to make friends.

I am a little wiser now on raising kids up to age 6 but for here on end I have a zillion questions and all suggestions, suggesters and friends welcome.

Welcome to essexmums. This is really such a great friendly site :D A Great friendly bunch.
Im Gemma, 25 married to Dom and we have a lil man called Jack who is 3. We live in Westcliff.

I am Lisa, married to Tony and have a 17 month old son, Ashton.

I lived in Witham up untill December as we moved back to Romford to be near our friends and family.

I'm Lea, 23 and was also living in Witham until just 7 weeks ago! I now live in Corringham and am mummy to Charli Lou, aged 5!

Oh Wow! This is wonderful and yes - very friendly as Jack's Mum above said! And some of you even live in Witham!! Thank you all for writing in. It will take me a little while to get the hang of being here but I'm looking forward to getting to know people here.

I tried to upload a photograph of Patrick and I but it doesn't seem to have taken :( Will try again...

Anyway, a little bit about us... I am originally from India but grew up in the Middle East where I lived till I came out here. I met Chris, Patrick's dad out there.

I work 4 days a week in London and Fridays from home and am still getting to grips with being a working mom in this country - phew - so tough! I have the hugest respect for mothers who work now.

It is almost May and I have already begun to bite my nails about what to do with Patrick for the summer! Anybody have any thoughts?
