Eco balls for the washing machine

#1 Unread post by Gillybean » Sat May 07, 2011 4:16 pm

Hi there

just wondered if anyone has been using these as I purchased some from Aldi's a couple of months ago and haven't used detergent for my washing machine since.

I think they are great, for £5.65 I got 2 balls full of little balls lol and you get a stain removal stick too.

I have been using these for every wash for the last few months but although it does say you never need to use softener again I still add that just so the clothes smell nice. I have used them both for heavy loads and one for a small load and nearly all stains came out first time and the few that didn't I just put a bit of the stain removal stick on the stain and re-washed and the stain came out

so my verdict is that they are great and I haven't had to buy any detergent of any kind since.

what is your opinion on these

No washing powder? How do they work then? Have you got a link?

We used to use the ones for the tumble dryer but they make such a noise and the garage is behind our living room and we couldn't hear the TV if the dryer was going so we sort of stopped using them.
