Swollen nerve at the back of the eye

i had to go to the eye clinic yesterday as during my normal eye test the optician said that my nerve looked a different colour in my right eye. They say my eye's are fine except the problem is the same in both eye's but have refered me to neurology as think that i may have a condition that they refered to as BIH(i think) well its to do with increased pressure im not in any pain and never realised that anything was wrong until they told me at the opticians. Has anyone else heard or suffered with this, they say its treatable by tablets but just wanted to see if i could find out anything else, looking on the internet scares me.
