New mummy to Romford, Hornchurch, Dagenham

#1 Unread post by Arty Mum » Sun Nov 28, 2010 11:50 pm

Hi Everyone!

I'm new to Essex and finding it really hard to meet mummies. I have a little girl who will be 3 next week and my partner and I will be trying for another in the next month or so. I work 3 days a week, live in Dagenham but want to move soon to Hornchurch, and go to places a lot in Romford where my daughter is also in nursery. Would love to hear from people and maybe meet some friendly faces, am really missing my mummy friends from Milton Keynes :(

Welcome to the site! I'm not in your area but hopefully you'll meet some mums who are. I'm Louise and I live in Westcliff. I have two kids, Felix who is 3 and Iris who is 19 months and we're currently trying for our third.

Wow that's fantastic! Thank you, I am based in Southend/Westcliff/Rochford for work as I am out in the community a lot. I really like it down there but my partner works in central london and my HQ is in Brentwood so we need to stay up here! Hopefully I will meet some people in my area soon!!

If you just fancy a bit of a chat you should try posting in the daily chat threads - today's is called Snowy Monday or something like that. We just talk about what we're up to that day but it's a nice way of getting to know everyone and newcomers are always very welcome!
