Hi, chelmsford newbie!

Hi everyone, thought i'd introduce myself properly.

I'm Hannah, mum to Leo who is 3 in January. Leo is such a funny, gorgeous, clever little muchkin. He has very limited vision due to a previously undiscovered genetic fault, but he doesn't let that stop him from doing everything other 2 year olds do, like being a little monkey at times and being a little clever clogs!

As for me, I'm 24 and have lived in Chelmsford for nearly 2 years. We moved back to England from South Africa because of Leo's vision problem, plus I missed home. I am a single parent, because Leo's dad lives in SA among many other reasons! (hence if any of you have a 6ft4 brother/cousin/friend I'd like to meet him... )

Will be nice to meet other parents in Essex :)

Hi Hannah and Leo

Welcome - I am Jenny mum to William who is 3 and i am also pregnant with number 2, due end of February.

My Aunt used to live in South Africa but moved home recently too. We went to Cape Town and along to Knysna before William was born too. Had a lovely holiday there.

Hi Hannah, I already said hello but will do so again. What was it like living in South Africa, were you there long?

Thanks for all the hello's.

South Africa was lovely especially the sunshine! The problem there is the support services, especially for children with special needs. Really made me appreciate the NHS. My sister and her children still live there, so I do miss them terribly.
