Helloooo Essex :)

#1 Unread post by tettini » Sun Nov 03, 2013 11:10 pm

Hello :)

I'm new to Essex (lived in London all my life till now) but not to being a mum - we've got a daughter who will be 4 in January and a son of 17 months. Only just moved to Braintree and know absolutely NO ONE :D Would love to know what's good locally and beyond. And find some local mums to share cake with!

Everyone's talking about the daily thread so I guess I should check that out....

Hi, welcome to the site! I'm Louise, I'm 35 and live in Westcliff. We have three kids - Felix who is 6, Iris who is 4 and Dexter who is nearly 8 months. The daily thread is usually the place to be though it's a bit pitiful today! Do come and say hello though, it's usually a great way of getting to know people!

Hi Louise! Your kids have great names :) I will brave the thread, maybe tomorrow, because it's sadly time for bed now...

One of the Mums on the forum wanted me to share this:

Ah thanks so much :) Have been having some internet trouble but back online now - sorry for ignoring the nice hellos too! I will see if I can bus it to Rayne (no driving licence... yet!)
