New Online business for Mums to Be Products??

#1 Unread post by Emma76 » Fri Jun 07, 2013 2:36 pm

Hi,
Am new to this forum and we appreciate some feedback on what could be a new business adventure.

Have recently been to a couple of baby fairs and have noticed while there have been some great stalls there never seems to be ones that provide products for all you lovely pregnant ladies.

Wanted to get some feedback on whether a company selling products like - sleep pillows, bump bands, seatbelt cushions and other practical products. Also would be great to hear about what items you couldn't have lived without during your pregnancy and how easily available they were to purchase??

This is all just ideas I'm getting together to see if there is an interest in this.

Look forward to your comments.
Thanks ladies

Hi

Definitely a great idea to get feedback - have you joined any of the baby / toddler Facebook groups and asked their opinion?

Can point you in the right direction if needed

I think it would be good - I normally buy stuff like that online but it's nice to try things out! I had a good pregnancy pillow but ordered it online - that was the thing I most needed!

Thanks weezypops, the pillow seems to be the most popular item - I couldn't live without my bump band, allowed me to keep wearing my normal jeans (which saves money on clothes I'd wear for just a few months )
Appreciate your comments. x

I think it would be nice to include some things for mums for labour and post-baby too, like things you might want to pack in your hospital bag, cloth breast pads etc - I found them hard to find.

Good idea - could call it 'Everything Mum' or 'All About Mum' or something! Definite marketing point would be the fact that all these things were available in one central place, one stop-shop etc.

Clairetalkingtots - that's what I was thinking, wanted to make it easy for us ladies to get all those helpful essentials in one place - we don't need to be going from here to there when carrying such precious cargo ;0)
Loving the feedback in getting! x
