We went to Abbotts in Rochford, but you can go anywhere these days. Im sure if you phoned any good estate agents and asked to speak to someone about a mortgage they would snap you up and you;d get a appt quickly. Remember theres no obligation to use them even if you see them or take any info on board.

We have an old friend of the family who does all our financial stuff. He's brilliant and is free too - he collects his fee from the company you go with. He has no affiliation with any company so will always get the best deal. Also he comes to your house in the evening if you want him to and chases you up the following year with a better deal if he can! I can give him your number if you want.

We use the same one as Lou and have done for the last 20 odd years. Well we recommended him to them when they were buying their house. He is an old family friend and as Lou said he is unbiased.
