Nearly halfway through and not too far off target. Just finished Killer Move and started a Derren Brown book - Confessions of a Conjurer.

How did you find The Colour Purple? have read it many times. I bought The Help in Waterstones the other day, haven't started it yet though.

I enjoyed it but it wasn't what I expected. I saw the film ages ago, like 15 years or so if not more so didn't have the best memory of it. I thought it was very good and really cleverly put together.

Jon has me hooked on the 'Game of Thrones' books right now, but they are quite long so taking me a while to read - might switch to pages read!

I've just finished reading "One Day". I thought I'd try it out after seeing all the hype for the film. I really enjoyed it. Highly recommend it. It stays in your head for days after you finish it.

The Color Purple is on my list to re0read as well. Meg is currently reading "Lord of the Flies" which i insisted she'd like (all she reads is blooming vampire books I swear) so I am going to read that too when she's done. I do love a classic. :)

I love the Lord of the Flies too - I think I read it in a night, it was one of those unputdownable books!

I don't think I've heard of One Day - will look it up.

I'm still working through The Hotel New Hampshire, it's brilliant. Totally unexpected in places. Going to rent the film when I've finished it!
