Well you know the most obvious one!

We've never been ones for tracking closely etc but plenty of people do - taking temperature, charting various things etc. I don't know all the ins and outs of it all (so to speak). Ovulation prediction kits are supposed to be good, and they say that sex every other day is better than every day to get the best quality sperm.

Congrats on trying! Very excting!

Thank you - I'm super excited! I'm sure it's been no secret how desperate I have been to have another child over the years!

I have to admit, the idea of checking basal temps etc weirds me a little bit  I have roughly charted my ovulation cycles, but since I only had my coil out a couple of weeks ago, it's going to take a little while to get it properly right - and I would be lying if I said I didn't slightly resent the idea of paying for ovulation tests (I'm such a tightbutt haha)

Although we are trying, I think we're taking a slightly more 'relaxed' approach to it... We didn't really want to go in for the whole 'temperatures, times of day' type stuff, as I would just get stressed with it, and I would also worry that it would make everything a bit pressured and take the fun and enjoyment out of it somewhat, if you get what I mean? So I guess just lots of the unprotected deed, so to speak!

I'd heard the theory of sex every other day, and that's pretty much our pattern anyway at the moment, so it would seem that we're already ont he right track without knowing it! haha

Have you ever noticed slight period type pains in the middle of your cycle? anything from few mins to 1-2 days? Thats how i know when im ovulating although did you ovulation strips from ebay (£5 for months worth approximately) with brandon as i was too impatient lol and fell first month. the tests confirmed what i already knew and that the pains are me ovulating.

Thanks Gem... My fingers are crossed, as are my toes, and if I could do it, I'd cross my eyes too! haha

Gillybean, I have an app too, so that helped with mapping my ovulation dates etc

Clare... I've never experienced ovulation cramps before, so I kinda cancelled them out, but since my cycle is readjusting after the coil removing, my body could well have changed? I've not gone with ovulation strips yet, but I may do next month.
