Any 'stay at home husbands/partners' out there?

#1 Unread post by Nicola3000 » Fri Jul 29, 2011 2:30 pm

Hi

I am a freelance journalist researching a feature for a national magazine looking at the increasing number of 'stay at home' husbands/partners who look after the kids/run the household while the
lady goes out to work.

If you would potentially be interested in a featuring, please let me know, with a bit more info about yourself and your stay at home partner (ages/previous occupation/why you chose this arrangement and how well it works) on email and I will come back to you... (nicola [at] nicolasmith.net)

Many thanks for your help!
Nicola

Hi,
I know your post was some time ago, so I don't know if your still looking?

I gave up my career in banking in February this year to look after our son. With both myself and my wife working up in the city, we found that the logistics of morning drop offs and evening pick ups would be too difficult to manage and also thought that our son wouldn't get the attention he deserves.

I would be happy to talk to you if you are still writing your article. If you have already published, then I would be interested to see your article.

Kind regards

G
