Local Riding for the Disabled Group Needs Volunteers

#1 Unread post by weezypops » Mon Jan 25, 2016 12:49 pm

Aldersbrook and Wanstead Riding for the Disabled Group desperately require volunteers to lead ponies for disabled riding group on Fridays during term time.

Would you like to get fitter whilst helping a group of partially sighted or autistic children to enjoy their horse riding ? Do you have an hour or so free on a Friday during term time at 10.50am or 1.20pm ? Did you ride as a child or have a horse as a teenager or feel comfortable around large animals.

Then come and volunteer as a leader for Aldersbrook and Wanstead Riding for the disabled group based at Aldersbrook Riding School in Manor Park E12 (Near City of London Cemetary and Crematorium). You don't need to be fit just capable of walking with the ponies for three quarters of hour or so with a little bit of jogging alongside them while they are having a short trot.

For more information phone 0208 530 4648 Tuesday - Sunday between 9am - 12.30pm or 2pm - 5pm and speak to Chris, Julie or Steve or email contact@aldersbrookriding.co.uk.
