Best Picnic Area for a Group

#1 Unread post by KdW » Thu May 16, 2019 7:53 pm

Hi
Just wondered where the best place would be to have a picnic with around 30 people (children and adults)? Looking to bring my own table, blankets, gazebo etc and just wondered about restrictions. Chalkwell Park, Hadleigh Castle, Shoebury East Beach - recommendations welcome. TIA

We had a party in Chalkwell Park a couple of years ago and it worked well - around 100 people, gazebos, booze, music etc. I think all southend parks have the same restrictions - it has to be less than 250 (I think) people, and you can't be selling or promoting anything. Hope this helps!
