I'm new!

#1 Unread post by carolbe » Thu Aug 12, 2010 3:05 pm

Hi everyone!

Weezypops saw me on the Mumsclub website and asked me to come over and tell you about my website :)

I'm a mum of two boys, one of whom has severe learning difficulties (he's 3). I've been creating games for him to play on his touch screen computer (one of the few things he'll actually interact with!) and have shared them on my website: http://www.special-needs-software.co.uk.

The games are mostly simple cause & effect type games, so they're great for pre-school children (special needs or otherwise!) - my other son, who's 4.5, loves them too! And although my little one uses a touch screen, you can also use the games with a regular mouse. In fact, quite a few of the games are ideal for helping to teach your little one mouse control!

So, I hope you'll pop over to the website, have a go of the games and let me know if you have any thoughts or ideas!

Thanks,
Carol

Thanks for posting Carol, your site is really good! I'm going to copy this over to a section we have for SEN etc. as I think it could be really useful there. My son who is 3 thought the games were great!

And thanks re: posting in SEN - I hadn't even noticed that section  Must go get my eyes tested ;)
