Hi 'Baglady' Welcome to Essex mums
I havent got a child with autism, I used to be in charge of SEN at my last workplace, so have worked with many children of varying ages with autism.

hi Natalie :)

not sure where about you are in Essex but if you happen to live in the Southend area theres a great film screening day specifically for children with autism/on the Spectrum that usually takes places towards end of month on a saturday morning. we went along y/day to watch the original Alice in Wonderland. its very relaxed & children are free to run about etc. Its ran by The Whitebus Co. thats based at TAP in Southend. the next one is High School Musical on 31st Aug i think & after that its a Studio Gibhli film (my son loves Studio Gibhli movies so definitely going to see that one) oh buy the way its free!! its funded by Aiming High/Southend Council.
