Hi Laura, what is it you're having trouble with. Here on the forum you can just post (as you already have) or respond to other people's posts, so you can just chat to other people etc. by replying to things they've written. Did you look at the link to the daily thread? That should give you an idea.

the rest of the website is information about things to do, places to go etc. - you can navigate using the menu bar near the top.
