I was discussing with my friend the other day about what constitues as a single mum..?!

Now, I still class myself as a single mum, as although I do have a lovely boyfriend, I still live alone with Charli, as we have not moved in together etc.

The Government class any unmarried person that isn't co-habiting/living as though married as a single person... Thus I do too...

What do you think girls? Am I a single mum or not?

Yes you are. He doesnt pay your bills or raise your child and he is not responsible for you....so yes...single mum with boyfriend perhaps? but you are not living together so you are solely responsible for you and child... I would say single mum. x
Of all the things I've lost...I miss my mind the most.....

That's how I look at it too...

Glad you see what I mean as my mate was arguing that as I do have a partner, I'm not a single mum!

Yeah I'd Class You As A Single Mum Too, Like Kat Said You May Have A Boyfriend But He Isn't Responsible For You Or Your Daughter Etc
