Nursery/pre school for 18 month old in Southchurch area

#1 Unread post by Fwidian » Thu Sep 19, 2013 12:58 pm

Hey

I'm hoping to start putting my daughter into nursery in the new year, when she is 18 months. I had planned to put her into Little Treasures in Westcliff however we have just moved to North Avenue near Southchurch and I'd prefer to find somewhere closer as I don't drive. I am unfamiliar with the area and was hoping you'd all be so kind as to offer me so advice about good nurseries in the area. I'd thought Hamstel would be the first choice as I live near there however I found out today that they don't take them so young. I've also rung Temple Sutton but am worried that it's a little far out as I don't drive.

Thank you in advance :)

My daughter used to go to the nursery down Central Avenue used to be called Happy Stars and then changed hands - I didnt like the way the new owners run it and took her out when she was able to start the nursery at her current school. I work at the drs surgery down North Avenue but dont know of any nurseries closer. I did look at putting our son into Bo Peeps but they didnt have any space but liked it when I looked round it. My childminder is near Southchurch park and am very happy with her but that is quite a walk from where you are.
Mum to Mia & Mason, wife to Steve - life is for living.

Sarah went to Bo Peeps, she liked it there. There rates were good and they got a very good Ofsted when she was there - that was about 3yrs ago.

Only nurseries take under twos. There's oak house in Wimborne road. When your lo is 2 there's little turtles on Bournemouth park, there's one in Whittington ave off poynings. Have you put your lo's name down for the school nursery? You would need to do that.

Thank you all so much for the help. I really appreciate it. I'm hoping to get organised and get her enrolled this week if I can. Thank you again xx
