Help with Childcare

#1 Unread post by Fredsmum » Wed Sep 04, 2013 10:00 pm

Hi, I am soon to be moving into the westcliff area and was hoping someone could recommend Childcare for my son who will be 2 in December.he is with a childminder at the moment and this arrangement has worked perfectly up until now. I am a teacher so ideally would not pay for care during school holidays, this is the arrangement I have at the moment. I am considering nurseries and child minders...please help. Many thanks :D

My kids went to LIttle Treasures nursery on Electric Avenue and really liked it there - the staff are lovely, it's a nice little place! They had a few different options for lengths of days, term-time only etc too.

Hi,

I'm a teacher too and know a few places in the area. If you want to pm me what school you work at i can see if I know any in the area. I found it easier to take my daughter to a nursery near the schools I worked in due to the earlier start.

Hi. Have you looked at ladybird nursery in southend hospital grounds? It's not just for NHS staff and is lovely in there. Obviously hours are flexible as they have to be and open from 7.30-8.30pm.
