Beach Volleyball Taster Sessions

Event description

These taster sessions provide you with a unique opportunity to play beach volleyball in Redbridge on the sand that our Olympians competed on!

Thanks to funding from Volleyball England and Sport England, three brand new beach volleyball courts were installed in Loxford Park at the end of last summer. These were created using the sand from the Olympic Beach Volleyball Courts at Horse Guards Parade during London 2012.

During the taster sessions, coaches will be on hand to give you direction and help you make the most of this free activity! Wear comfortable sports clothing (no shoes or socks to be worn on the sand).

People of any fitness level can come along and have a go, no booking required. Come on your own or encourage your friends and family to join you! Younger children can get their faces painted for free or play on the bouncy castle for free.
