how do I avoid paying handling charges when I shop online? I recently cancelled an order for some casual shoes I have purchased but to my surprise I ended up loosing half my money to so called handling charges. How do I go about avoiding this from happening next time?

I've never heard of paying handling charges, just P&P. I don't think you can avoid this unless you go for places that have free P&P.
