Firm toddler shoes

#1 Unread post by Jenn » Fri Feb 28, 2014 2:30 pm

Hi ya

I need to buy James some firm soled shoes - any suggestions on decent places to go?

He has Clarks ones and they are too bendy.

Thanks

Next do nice boys shoes. I wouldn't have thought he'd still need specific toddler shoes though- He's not really a toddler anymore. Big boy James!

No I know he isn't a toddler but I thought I would put it in the title as he isn't able to wear Cat oots or anything yet :) He is only a 7.5 though.

Next could be okay (will look tomorrow) although they are supposed to be properly fitted :( does hush puppies over at freeport have a good selection?

Did think about startrite but was told they are quite wide fitting? Is this true?

I've always taken shoe fitting sizes and gone elsewhere.

vans? Aren't they just like canvas shoes? THe vans that the scouts all wear are not very firm? DO they do other styles too?

I have got him the firmest pair of clarks shoes but they are on order but they will probably only last 6 weeks or so if they get wet and stretch slightly so still on the lookout for a second pair or a new pair in a few weeks.

Jenn, have you thought about Kickers? Freddie is on his second pair and they never wear out, even wears them on the beach etc. They are a bit expensive but well worth the money. Shame Freddie's old ones were a size 7, James could have tried them. I get there feet measured and go elsewhere. Clarks at Braintree are good too.
