Still no boys name.... :/
Still no boys name.... :/
ok, Ladies - we've still not come up with a boys name! I really wanted to settle on one so the girls could get used to it etc.
hubbby likes,
Jack
Matthew
Max
For me they are all a bit too 'popular', not that I dislike them
For middle names I like,
Baxter
Emerson
Harding
Jack Emerson works ok. I guess I was waiting for that 'one' name to hit me and it hasnt yet! All the names I come up with hubby doesnt like :/ Choosing girls names seemed so much easier....lol

Re: Still no boys name.... :/
yes, it's Davies so hubby is quite drawn to the idea of shortening it to JD if we go for Jack
Re: Still no boys name.... :/
I thought Jack would be popular here as it wasn't in Northern Ireland - But there is only one Jack in Jack's class and thats him x
I like Max, my friend had a boy yesterday and called him George Frederick and she has an Alfie,
I like Hugo too

You might want to try this: http://www.nymbler.com/ You put in names you like and it suggests similar ones.
I think I would find those a bit too popular too, though they're nice enough names. I would personally steer away from the -ie names as I don't think they age well, though are fine as nicknames. They're popular too though.
Trying to think of some names that have a similar feel to your first and middle name choices, so here are some suggestions. What about:
Henry
Owen
Samuel
Eli
Lucas
Ellis
Harrison
Jude
Spencer

thanks Louise!
I love the names Henry, Spencer and Harrison, but hubby doesnt! I did like Owen, but hubby said with our surname sounded too Welsh!!
Let me 'wear' Jude for a while and see how it fits and Hubby could still shorten to JD if he wanted!
