Hand Creams

#1 Unread post by XxJack~AcexX » Tue Jan 01, 2013 3:54 pm

Can anyone recommend a GOOD hand cream?
My hands lately are so dry and keep cracking on two of my fingers and have now got a cut like on each finger. Which as you can imagine isn't good as always getting wet then dry amongst keep catching them. The one on my thumb is so sore and is actually getting quite deep which may get infected soon bah!

Im using a Nivea deep moisturing hand cream which doesn't seem to be helping at all.
Just need a good one to keep hydrated and stop my skin splitting.

What a nice post eh.

Any recommendations girlys? x

I use a honey based one as honey has natural healing properties (hence its used for colds, coughs, and more recently as a moisturiser in hospitals to get sticky tape of faces of the elderly and babies). The one I have is one I'm doing a review on for EM. It's meant to be a baby cream (if you put it on a baby then it must be good stuff). I moisturise every day with it and have noticed my hands and face feel smoother and not so many cracks on hands.

Things that crack hands can be the heat from hot water washing up. Cheaper versions of washing up liquid. Etc.

Try smothering your hands in a cream at night like sudo and barely rubbing in then put a cotton sock on - stops it wiping off not very attractive but might just help soften the skin x

Tesco sell some gloves designed for doing that with the cream.
