Easter Special 2022

2nd to 18th April

Looking for something to do this Easter? Join in the fun at the Audley End Miniature Railway and visit our very own Easter Bunny at his Spring Home in the woods! Our Easter Special is a 2.5/3 hour experience, the time you chose will be for your train ride where your exciting experience will begin, all other activities will follow on from this. Please arrive 30 minutes before your train ride to ensure you are ready to board at the time you have selected. Please read below for further details:

Hop on our miniature train this Easter with your family and ride deep into the enchanted Audley End woods to visit our very own Easter bunny in his woodland home.

Along the route through the magical woods, you can use our I Spy sheet to spot little bunnies burrowing in the undergrowth, heavily laden nests with an abundance of colourful eggs – perhaps you’ll spot some spring chicks too.

The train stops at the Easter bunny’s burrow where children will meet our full-sized rabbit and his furry friends who will give each child a special gift.

The next stop is the Easter Trail where families can wander through pathways to spot springtime animals, nests and eggs – all to be ticked off from the activity booklet. The Easter entertainment continues in the picnic field, where children can

let off steam in the adventure play area, and also visit our Easter story telling session on the stage area.

Once children have completed their activity booklets, they can head over to the gift shop to collect their special sticker.

Eggsellent food and drink will be available at the Woodland Cafe all day long with some seasonal treats on offer.

Included in the ticket price: Train Ride to meet the Easter Bunny and his friends, Easter Trail, Story Telling, Adventure Play Area, Nature Corner, Gift for every child.

Booking is required, tickets will not be available on the day.

Halloween Special 2022
Fun for the whole family at our Halloween Special Event

Your fang-tastic experience will begin at the station where our station masters will board you upon our Halloween express. Chugging deep into the Estate Woodland you will arrive at the witches’ house and be greeted by the coven of witches together with their cheeky monster friends. The wicked witches and playful monsters will entertain you, cackling and chanting spells around their cauldrons. But make sure you behave yourselves as they perform their witchy dance, or they might cast a spell on you…

Once you return from your train journey the entertainment continues as you venture back into the woods to meet Belinda the Fortune Telling Witch.

After Belinda has finished her fortune telling you will then explore our adventure play area while also enjoying the delights of our café and seating area, in our witches hat Tipi Tents!

Finally, you will visit the Wizard’s dwelling. Here you will meet our woodland Wizard, William, the king of the woods. He will need your help performing his spook-tacular spell to keep the woodland creatures warm in the winter.

The Audley End witches do love seeing you kitted out in your spooky finery – so make sure you dress to scare!

The Halloween spook-tacular is spooky fun and never scary and is therefore suitable for even the smallest of monsters.

If you book an afternoon experience you will also see the whole site adorned with lights!

Included in the ticket price:

Train Ride through the woods to visit the witches and their monster friends, Gift for every child, Belinda the Fortune Telling Witch, William the Woodland Wizard, Adventure Play Area

Booking is required. Tickets will not be available to purchase on the day. Tickets on sale Monday 1st August.
