Braintree Village announces fun for all the family this half term
With half term on the horizon, families across Essex will be busy planning their week and with the cold weather set to continue, diaries will need to be filled with plenty of entertainment for the whole family. With this in mind, Braintree Village has organised something for everyone:
For the little ones:
For some much-needed distraction during a busy day shopping, be sure to stop by Braintree Village’s colouring wall from Thursday 13th to Sunday 23rd February. Kids can get hands-on and creative with their pens and crayons by colouring in the 24ft wide design packed full of Braintree and Essex landmarks.
Double decker heaven
Families with a sweet tooth will love climbing on board the Tiptree Tea Room bus and treated to a well-deserved snack. Offering delicious cream teas and drinks, visitors can enjoy some family time on the upper deck from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th February.
Funky entertainment
Sing-along as you shop and enjoy the sounds of the Funky Voices choir on Saturday 15th February. Performing at 1pm, it’s a show not to be missed as the choir descends on Braintree Village and delights visitors with an eclectic mix of tunes from Queen and Michael Jackson to Take That and Bruno Mars.
Those heading to Braintree Village on Monday 17th February will be in for a treat as the Police Cadets join the outlet village’s Random Acts of Kindness initiative and hand out special goodies throughout the day.
