THE SUPER FUN GAME CREATION WORKSHOP FOR JUNIORS
Junior Game Creators is a family of fun, educational clubs and workshops designed to kickstart kids interest in computer science through video games.
Junior Game Creators is for kids who want to look a little deeper at the games they play at home.
Over the course of our sessions we’ll learn about and play some of the most popular games around like Minecraft, FIFA and Mario Bros. before handing over the creation tools to our gamers. We task our Junior Game Creators with designing their own versions of these amazing games in Scratch, the programming software that is now part of the national computing curriculum.
Junior Game Creator Workshops are run in schools, libraries and other venues as well as in our mobile class rooms known as the Gamewagons ™ .
If there’s not a workshop nearby, or if you can’t wait until the next one, we can bring Junior Game Creators to you! Using our state-of-the-art Gamewagon vehicles, we can run a workshop for up to eight children, right on your doorstep! Take a look at the photos to the right and see our Junior Game Creators in action.

VIRTUAL HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS
There are few better ways to pass the time during school holidays than developing your own video game.
Trouble is, game development can seem difficult at first and many who attempt it without assistance often fail and lose interest.
This is where we come in.
Over the last 6 years our after school and holiday workshops have guided thousands of pupils into video game development by delivering our workshops in a fun and easy-to-follow atmosphere.
Having fun while making games quickly builds the skill and confidence of our pupils to a level that they can then create their own projects. And remember, we are always here to help you get unstuck.
Our Virtual Holiday Workshops use either the popular Scratch game engine or the professional Construct game engine alongside the more recently popular webinar service, Zoom. Using the chat function, Zoom allows pupils projects to be easily shared and is a great tool for helping pupils who may be stuck.
All of the programs mentioned above are free to use.
Please see below for our upcoming holiday workshops and how they are structured.
Holiday workshops will be held on:
