Sunday 3rd April, 11am - 3pm

We're delighted Wellgate Community Farm will be joining us at Thames Chase for our Spring Festival on Sunday 3rd April between 11am and 3pm.
We will be hosting a petting farm in the quad at Thames Chase, with pigs, chicks, sheep, goats, birds and poultry* and hopefully some new baby lambs.
Tickets are £3.50 each, for the young and the older amongst us. We do hope to go ahead whatever the weather unless significant storms. All sales are final.
Please pre-book your slot for arrivals every 15 minutes from 11am to 3pm ie 11am, 11.15am, 11.30am etc, no duration of stay limit.
To book your slot please call 01708642970 or drop in at the Forest Centre.

Thames Chase Sunflower Planting

Sunday 3rd April, 1 - 1.45pm

Join us on Sunday 3rd April to plant two pots with sunflower seeds, £3 per child.
Children will learn about what plants need to grow, how to look after a growing plant, why soil and compost are important.
Children will get to fill two of their own pots with a soil / compost mixture and plant two sunflower seeds in each pot. They will then attach a sticky label and label the pots / decorate them.
Don't have a pot? Pop into our craft session running on Sunday and make a recycled planter with our volunteers (£3).
Children will be given a Sunflower Diary, enabling them to record the height of their sunflowers as they grow.
We encourage parents to take pictures of the sunflowers as they grow, post them on social media and tag us in them so we can see how they're getting on!
Two sessions are available on Sunday 3rd April:
1:00pm to 1:45pm
2:00pm and 2:45pm.
Please email [email protected], ring 01708 642970 or drop into the centre to book your space today.
