‘Party Parade’ is a lovely interactive read for both adults and little ones.
As you would expect from designer Sara Miller the book is beautifully illustrated throughout. It features several well known animal characters from her homeware designs and introduces some new ones too. The colours and patterns are vibrant and easily hold a child’s attention as they scour the pages to spot the requested animal. The ‘Did You Spot Any of These Animals?’ section at the back of the book also gives a chance to revisit earlier pages to find new animals and increases its entertainment value.
Not to be outshone by her sister, the writing by Leanne Miller is equally engaging. Each page is full of alliteration and rhymes making for a fun and dynamic read.
Altogether a charming and immersive book.
