First of all I must admit when I received the Micro Scooter to review (well for my daughter to review should I say, think my scootering days are over!), I was shocked when I learned that it retails for £99.95! For me it seems a lot of money compared to other scooters on the market. I was expecting big things of it.
The description of the Maxi Micro Scooter is as follows:
– age 6-12 years
– available in green, purple, pink and black
– ideal follow on from the mini micro
– three wheels for stability
– low to the ground and robust
– tough pu wheels
– coloured handle grips
– solid coloured deck
The age as mentioned above is 6-12, but I think it would be fine for children from around school age rather than buying the smaller mini scooter then having to upgrade at a later date.
My daughter happily took it out for a spin and watching her, I noticed how robust the micro scooter appeared, it’s very well made that’s for sure.
I also noticed the ride seemed much smoother than a regular scooter, my daughter commented that she could hardly feel any of the bumps that she went over in the park we visited. I can appreciate more now why the price of the product is above average, it really is a great scooter that should last a child for a good few years. I’ve bought several cheaper scooters over the years for the children, but this one is by far the best, it really is in a different league.
If you can justify the cost, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
