We already have some letters from somewhere else of a different style spelling out our first son’s name on the top of the toy box and were meaning to get some for his baby brother to go on the toybox too. Then came the opportunity to review these letters made in Sri Lanka out of wood.
The letters are 7cms tall and are all glossy, painted with animals beginning with the letter they are. For example S is snake. Each letter looks fun and colourful and and comes in a fairytale design too for girls. These animal ones are unisex I would say and help children to learn their name and what animal each letter stands for.
The edges are smooth and there are no little bits that tiny hands could get splinters from. The letters are lightweight and can be ordered to make whatever words are required. Each is self adhesive so they were very easy to apply to the toy box and look like they will withhold little fingers trying to pull them off… our others letters have not!
A good buy to brighten up a toy box or to make a door plaque with your child’s name on. VUP Baby usually sell these for £1.10 each letter. We would highly recommend.
