We decided to do something today and ended up at Leisure Island Canvey.
It was incredibly cheap at £5 for an all day wristband and adults free.
There are lots of little rides, suitable for my three year old twins and six year old daughter. Including ladybird cars, a pirate boat, water ride and mini waltzer, cars and vehicle rides, mini trampolines and quad bikes (50p extra). You can go on as many rides, as often as you want all day. The rides were manned very well and always felt safe with the little ones. There are various food and drink stalls. Quite a large portion of chips £1 and a fruit shoot for 60p. Lattes are only £1. Also there was plenty of undercover seating where you can eat your own food if need be.
Further along the road was a cinema which was showing latest kids films like Kung Fu Panda 3 and Alvin and the Chipmunks for £2.50!! A few arcades dotted around with 2p machines in (a rare sight nowadays!) and the car park was only £1.10 for up to 3 hours.
A very fab cheap and cheerful day out for my little ones who didn’t want to leave.
