Best Swim School

We believe that learning to swim should be fun and something that can be enjoyed no matter what age or ability you might be. At our heart, we at Mini Swimming want to see children feeling safe, confident and happy in the water. Our classes are designed to ensure that the children foster this lifelong love of swimming through song, play and quality time with their family, be that parents or grandparents, uncles or aunts.

We do everything we can to make sure our swimmers can’t wait for their next swimming session and that they can grow into young people and adults who can always enjoy holidays at the beach, at the poolside or in a lake on a camping trip.

Our dedicated team of teachers all believe that children learn best when they’re having fun, and that’s why we keep our lessons and songs fresh and are always up for a new idea to have fun in the water.

Highly Recommended: Swimmania

We think learning to swim should always be super fun and exciting and we make sure our classes are also very educational. We do love a theme week and we do go all out and even decorate the viewing area so its magical for the swimmers from the moment they arrive. Our swim lessons are in our extra warm hydro pool so our classes are suitable for little ones that are just two weeks old up to big kids and adults so you can join our classes as soon as you are ready.

Highly Recommended: Swimming Tales

Knowing that residents of Rayleigh were crying out for their own pool, Tracy Ward decided to convert a disused farm building at Lubbards Farm, Rayleigh, into an unique purpose built indoor swimming centre of excellence. Swimming Tales opened its doors in March 2005, offering a unique facility, which is friendly, welcoming and very clean, with top class swimming teachers. The 15m by 7m pool, which has a depth of 1.1m all over so there’s no deep end to worry about and is heated to just over 30 degrees so is always lovely and warm!!

  1. Most teachers at Palmer Swim are lovely but sadly the owner is rude and unapproachable. Her response to a complaint was “I’m the only one who’s going to see it”. Our daughter flourished with another teacher at Palmer swim but Carryn’ s rough and physical approach in the lesson she led left our daughter in tears. One parent said their child refused to go in Carryn’s group because he is terrified of her. They may have won an award but there are plenty of example of families who did not stay with Palmer Swim because of the owner. Pay up front and then she has your money and doesn’t care.
