WINNER: BABY AND TODDLER RHYME TIMES AT ESSEX LIBRARIES
ECCBaby and toddler sessions run in all Essex libraries and offer a great opportunity for you and your child to share rhymes, have fun together and join in with other families. To find your nearest session, search for your local library or visit our Essex Mums forum post
These fun-packed rhyme, short song and story sessions take place in libraries during school term-times. Everyone joins in with singing, chanting and choosing nursery rhymes, and afterwards families stay to chat, join the library and to choose books to take home.
Introducing children to books and other resources at an early age can have a big impact on their development. At all of our libraries, you will find a wealth of picture books which they will love. We even have board books especially designed for little hands to hold.

No need to book, just drop in, or email [email protected] with any questions.
Highly Recommended: Muddy Boots Forest Adventures
At Muddy Boots, our sessions all follow the forest school ethos and allow children to just be children. My role is to facilitate learning; each session is entirely child led and your child may wish to do all or some of the things on offer and sometimes nothing at all. It’s a relaxed friendly fun session and is pay as you go so your not tied into a terms worth of sessions. Come along with friends and catch up while the children play or meet new ones.
Highly Recommended: Gym Rox Tots
Gym Rox has been running since January 2007 and has grown over the years into a club we are very proud of. It is run by Carly and Faye Moffatt who have a huge passion for gymnastics and Acrobatics. Both Carly and Faye have taken part in gymnastics since a very young age and competed for many years, including regional and national finals. They have both been teaching for many years and began to coach from the age of 15, gaining lots of experience working with children of different abilities.
