Our indoor school allows riding to take place in bad weather and provides a safe environment for our beginners.
Outdoor facilities include a two floodlit all weather menages, a jumping paddock, several standards of Cross-country courses and hacking on private tracks.
Some of these facilities are available for hire.
Instruction is available for all standards from beginner to BHS instructor level, children and adults. Our youngest rider to date is 14 months old, our oldest rider – we didn’t ask. However the changes with Insurance mean we have to limit Pony Rides to 4yrs and above and lessons to 5yrs and above. The maximum weight we can accept is 13 stone (80.5kg)
With Fun Days, ‘Own a Pony for 2 days’, Children’s Birthday Parties and Vintage Teas, Progressive Riding Tests and Clients shows, we aim to provide more than just riding lessons.

Before 1.45pm to allow time to fit the riding hats and for us to find out what the children want to eat.
Approx 2pm (please confirm this with staff in reception) Parties with half-hour lessons are generally restricted to 6 children if beginners, and 8 if they can ride. Pony rides are not so restricted, but may need to go in two groups one after the other, so please have a game prepared to keep the waiting group occupied. Alternatively if there are between 6 & 16 children they can play gymkhana games for half an hour at pony ride price. This would mean that the children share the ponies as teams, not that they would each ride for half an hour.
In the Dairy after the riding, consists of chickenburger/sausage/beefburger/veggieburger/chicken nuggets/pasta/fish fingers etc with chips, followed by ice cream and a drink.
Balloons are added to a specially laid table. You may wish however to add to the decorations or create your own special theme. Please bring along a birthday cake if you want to.
Occasionally it may be necessary for the back of the Dairy to be used by some of our diners, whilst your child’s party is in progress.
This is not provided by us but you may wish to organise a few party games. A radio with CD playing facility is available to provide some music for games or just as background music.
Supervision must be adequate for the number of children and provided by the customer when the children are in the Dairy.
