Gentle Touch baby massage – Hilfra West

This is a five week course, in which you will learn a full body massage routine to enjoy with your baby. The classes are suitable from birth, however to maximise the benefits of the sessions, it’s best to wait until they have just turned four weeks old.

You will also be taught “Gentle Movements” – stretching exercises which stimulates your baby when they are awake for long periods during the day, and best after a long sleep or car journey. They also help with common problems, such as colic,trapped wind and constipation. Also learning the different ways of tummy time and why it is so important for your young baby.

During the sessions we will learn different easy-to-remember songs relevant to the part of the body we are focusing on, as well as promoting eye-to-eye contact during the massages and how reflexology can help your baby and growing child.

We also cover how to stimulate the child’s brain with a variety of sensory objects , including recycled items at home, to help target all five of their senses and encourage their imagination.

You will learn how to adapt the full body massage for your growing baby, including activities to help relax and engage their imagination via story massages for the back.

Experience in Special needs babies, reflux, colic, tummy hernia, down syndrome, wheelchair users, cronic constipation, postnatal depression.

Oil, A4 folder, IAIM quick reference A4, useful handouts which I discuss in class and a certificate. Add on classes available.

PRICES;
£55 for the 5 week package.
1-1 £100 for the 5 week package, working together at your own pace. very popular with Colic and reflux babies. Evening classes can be offered if preferred.
