Raisthorpe Manor produce a selection of fruit liqueurs including sloe, raspberry, damson, rhubarb and gooseberry, together with a range of flavoured vodkas including our 9ct Gold Shimmer range. These are produced at Raisthorpe Manor following traditional family recipes using locally sourced fruit wherever possible. The fruit is steeped in the liqueur with sugar and left for 6 – 8 months to mature then bottled for sale via our website or through quality food markets, delicatessens, farm shops and events such as the BBC Good Food shows.
Many of our fruit liqueurs have won Great Taste Awards with our Damson Port winning 3 Gold Stars in 2014. Our Damson Port is made using the finest port along with our local Wold grown damsons. It has a fruity yet smooth taste which makes it perfect for an after dinner digestif or works well when heated as mulled port. We have also launched Oak Aged Gin and Distilled Dry Gin together with our Elderflower Gin. We also use our steeped fruit to produce our fruit gin jams and jellies – our sloe port jelly (2014 Great Taste 1 Gold Star winner) is a great accompaniment to game and meat dishes and is also delicious as part of a Yorkshire cream tea.
