Cornwall
Cornwall is a great place for a seaside holiday with the family. There are plenty of truly beautiful beaches to choose from and fun things to do like surfing and paddleboarding. You can also visit some of Cornwall’s famous castles, like Pendennis Castle or Tintagel Castle.
If you’re looking for something a bit more adventurous, head to the Eden Project. This huge botanical garden has something for everyone, from waterfalls and caves to zip lines and giant swings.
Filey
Filey is a lovely seaside town in Yorkshire. It’s perfect for a relaxing family holiday, with its pretty beach and quaint shops. There’s also a great selection of things to do nearby, including the Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park, and the Yorkshire Wildlife Park.

Wales
Wales is a particularly great destination for a family holiday. With its stunning scenery and abundance of outdoor activities, it’s the perfect place to explore with the kids. You can actually go hiking in Snowdonia National Park, zip-lining through Coed y Brenin Forest Park, or even try your own hand at surfing at one of Wales’ many beaches.
And if you’re looking for something a bit more cultural, why not visit one of Wales’s many castles? Castles like Caernarfon and Conwy are full of history and make for a great day out.
The Lake District
The Lake District is a super popular destination for hikers and nature lovers. But it’s also perfect for families. There are honestly plenty of scenic spots to explore and attractions like the Aquarium of the Lakes and the World of Beatrix Potter. You can also go for a ride on the steam train or visit one of the many lakes.

East Anglia
East Anglia is a beautiful region of the UK, with plenty to see and do. There are some great spots for families like Colchester Zoo, Banham Zoo, and Suffolk Wildlife Park. Or, if you’re looking for something more active, you can go ten-pin bowling or ice skating at Planet Ice.
And, of course, no family holiday would be complete without a trip to a theme park. There are several great options in East Anglia, including Adventure Island and Thorpe Park.
Devon
